CINNAMON MASALA CHICKEN



1 Kg Chicken (cut in small pieces)
2 large onions
2 large tomatoes
1 lemon grass
curry leaves
4 tbsp blended dried chilli
1 tsp pepper powder
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder
2 tsp chicken curry powder
3 tbsp blend shallot
3 tbsp garlic & ginger paste
1/2 cup evaporated milk
chopped coriander leaves
1 in cinnamon stick
2 cloves
salt
oil

1. Marinate chicken in salt and chilli powder for about an hour.
2. Heat up oil. Fry the cinnamon , cloves, lemongrass, curry leaves.
Add onions and tomatoes.Fry over low heat.
3. Now add the garlic, ginger and shallot paste. When fragrant, Add the chicken
pieces.Mix well till juice is sealed.
4. Add in all the powdered spices except the cinnamon powder. Put in the milk,salt. Cover it and cook over slow fire.
5. When chicken is cooked, put the chopped coriander leaves and cinnamon powder and stir thoroughly over high heat for 3 mins before dishing out.
